I have always been a creative person. I grew up on the outskirts of a small town so having an imagination was key to staying busy and entertained when I was young. Before starting my career in interior design, I spent five years backpacking around the world and then worked in finance. My favourite part of both of these journeys was meeting people, making connections, and approaching issues with an open mind. Needing a more creative outlet, I attended the Interior Design program at the Centre for Arts and Technology acquiring an Advanced Diploma. Since then, I have gained a new respect for my surroundings. My design style varies depending on each distinct project and always focuses on sustainability, universal design and the well being of the user.
