Our client came across the perfect space for her expanding insurance firm – a corner space in a bustling downtown spot with good natural light and high ceilings. She wanted the carefully designed interior to reflect the business brand and a ‘Modern Zen’ aesthetic.

Careful space planning was crucial as we needed to move custom-made glass office walls from the existing office into the new space. The walls were configured to maximize the flow of natural light from office to office and create a breezy open hallway to the back boardroom. Interior Finishes were inspired by the branding document – oversize pebble-shaped bulkheads hang at varying heights over the reception desk and boardroom table, delivering light and sound absorption.

Adhering to ‘Modern Zen’, the flooring is a commercial-grade vinyl Bamboo plank made of 75% post-consumer recycled materials balanced with breezy ‘Antique White’ walls, ‘Espresso’ custom cabinetry and ‘Stop Red’ accents. A one-of-a-kind counter with red & clear post-industrial recycled glass harmonizes the scheme and complements the full-height glass backsplash and glass walls. The open ceiling was painted dark to maintain an industrial simplicity and create visual comfort. The final space provides for optimal business operations in a distinct and memorable environment.
