This is not your typical frozen yogurt shop. Inspired by the coal mining history of Canmore, the space directs users through the “mining shaft” to the self-serve frozen yogurt area, where they can choose from a variety of handmade frozen yogurt flavours and toppings.

A custom made black and white mural of Canmore overlapped with a coal mining map runs the entire length of the space. Pops of “canary” yellow, hanging bird cages and faux brick allow for a playful yet functional space. When it came to detailing we selected naturally tactile materials like rope and reclaimed wood as well as raw concrete floors balanced by black decorative ceilings panels.

Nothing beats the feeling of wonderment and history every time you treat yourself to a little frozen yogurt!
