At Mission Creamery, it all started with a dream: to create smiles by the scoop. That philosophy guided every decision in designing the flagship location inside the Aqua Building in Kelowna, BC.
The interior design evokes a sense of nostalgic authenticity, embracing a timeless vintage aesthetic with a refined material palette. Soft black, crisp white, gentle greys, and warm wood tones create a visual rhythm that feels both familiar and fresh.
Walnut tambour, painted brick, polished concrete, and custom walnut millwork are grounded by quartz countertops and thoughtfully curated custom lighting—creating a space that is both welcoming and memorable.
This project came with its own set of design challenges, from the extremely compact footprint to working within Building Code restrictions—all while integrating a prominent overhead garage door into a cohesive and functional space. Every inch had to work smarter, not just harder.
What made this project truly exceptional was our clients. Their trust, collaborative spirit, and clear passion for their business made the interior design process seamless and deeply rewarding.
We're thrilled with how this scoop-sized space turned out—and even more excited to share that a second location is already on the way. Stay tuned!
