Our clients wanted to renovate their traditional Canmore home and create something that reflected their lifestyle and personality. The priority was to update the gathering spaces of their home. This included the kitchen, dining, living room and lower media room.
We wanted to play with modern forms, rustic materials and a boho accessories to create a laid-back, livable and effortlessly chic space. The most drastic change was white-washing the existing wood tongue-and-groove ceiling to allow the natural light to flood in to fill the space making it feel open and fresh! In the kitchen we played with two-toned cabinetry and a custom wine wall that faces the dining room - because ‘wine’ not! The lower media room was all about creating the ultimate hang out space for the whole family to enjoy.
