A modern take on the weekend mountain getaway makes this duplex truly unique.

The duplex was designed so that multiple families and friends can use the home during various seasons with 2 master bedrooms and 2 secondary bedrooms on the lower level in each unit. Large entertaining spaces were provided with an open concept kitchen and living area and the lower level saw a recreation room to be used by the families’ children.

Views were captured through unique window shapes and locations, including the upper loft area. The exterior is highlighted by a hybrid timber frame structure, stone, horizontal wood siding and soffits and grey tone stucco. The Interiors of Side A are showcased here, features include a custom one of a kind fireplace in the great room, custom railings and an open riser staircase with a central steel stringer. Acacia hardwood flooring pairs nicely with high gloss white and olive wood veneer cabinets in the kitchen. An exotic granite waterfalls down from the quartz counter to act as a curved eating bar which is mirrored in the kitchen bulkhead. Custom tile details are seen throughout the bathrooms along with unique lighting fixtures.

A true gem for generations to come.
